In the catalogs the following rated parameters of asynchronous motors are provided in most cases: the power [P.sub.n], the rotation speed of the rotor [n.sub.n], the phase current of the stator [I.sub.1n], the efficiency factor [[eta].sub.n], the power factor cos [[phi].sub.n], the relative breakdown torque [[mu].sub.c], the relative starting torque [[mu].sub.p], etc.
The i-th relative breakdown torque and the starting torque are calculated:
Locked-rotor current, locked-rotor torque, and
breakdown torque tests were conducted at 60 hertz and near rated voltage.
