They said that a cheap treatment for club foot called Pon Sete method was used in removing the defect in children's foot by
casting plaster only.

Basically, if it's built–in cornice then it might have to be replaced, if the cornice was fixed to the wall as a factory–made piece, it will need to be rescrewed to the joists and the cracks will need to be filled with fine

It's been a while since I used fine
casting plaster. It can be used to set plaster quickly for a small patch job or for cornice work, but you can also have fun with it by taking all your kids' Plasticine and making a mould of a foot, nose or the like.
It may sound extreme but the only way to fix them - whether hairline or large gaps - is to cut out the crack and fill with fine
casting plaster or DK Dental plaster - better known as plaster of Paris.

casting plaster takes great skill to work with.
