Irrigation of the radial nerve in the dog is supplied by small vessels that come from the deep brachial artery and humeral circumflex caudal artery. Regarding its internal conformation, two fascicles in the proximal segment and four fascicles in the distal segment were identified.
Results show that in cattle consuming diets containing ergot alkaloids, blood flow through the caudal artery, which supplies blood to the tail, can be reduced by as much as 50 percent relative to cattle on alkaloid-free diets.
