charrette, put together by Families in Transition-New Horizons in partnership with Plan NH, hopes to improve the facility to better meet the needs of people accessing the organization's services as well as create "positive change" in the surrounding neighborhood, said Maureen Beauregard, president of FIT-NH.
The
charrette brought together more than 60 people - design specialists, museum and heritage experts and community organisations - to brainstorm ideas for the area.

Perhaps the two most visible outcomes of the design
charrette were the process of filling multiple channels from one goods-to-person workstation and the unique approach to air conditioning in the facility, which also resulted in significant savings in the solar array.
Ultimately, Bingle believes this project illustrates the value of the design
