[krə′näm·əd·ər ‚tīm] (horology)
The hour of the day as indicated by a chronometer, generally set approximately to Greenwich mean time; unless the chronometer has a 24-hour dial, chronometer time is usually expressed on a 12-hour cycle and labeled A.M. or P.M.
