Shrub, 4ft (1m) Lots and lots or red or yellow tubular edible flowers that taste like sweet cucumber. Hummingbirds love them. It has leaves, but then loses them, leaving only flowers. Each flower has a wide lower lip that falls open to reveal the inside of the blossom.
