The comparison between
collapse breccia and bedrock revealed that although higher contents of P, Cr, Ba, Co, and Ni occurred in the
collapse breccia, they were lower than those in the sand-shale filling.
The 2013 core drilling suggests that the tabular zones of mineralized, favourable host rock are cut by one or more high-angle structures causing
collapse breccia zones where the mineralization becomes thicker and higher-grade.
This lower breccia, which is comprised dominantly of
collapse breccia, is the preferred depositional environment for gold and the intercept in 13-08 is essentially open in all directions.
