The combustor that has been designed and built for this study provides an experimental system for the application and evaluation of a simple, phenomenological CRN model for the prediction of combustor performance, especially flame stability, combustor efficiency, and exhaust emissions.
However, the stack and probe modeling can be important for optimizing the emissions or the combustor efficiency.
