confusion reflector
[kən′fyü·zhən ri′flek·tər] (ordnance)
An electromagnetic-wave reflector dropped from aircraft to create false signals on enemy radarscopes, consisting of strips of aluminum foil or metallized paper, such as chaff or window, cut to lengths that are multiples or submultiples of enemy radar frequencies. Also known as radar confusion reflector.
