Dubai: Today's weather condition, according to the National Centre of Meteorology, will be fair to partly cloudy, with a chance of some
convective clouds formation over the mountains by afternoon.
The weather across the UAE today will be fair in general but partly cloudy at times, with a possibility of
convective clouds formations in the eastern part of the country by afternoon.
Clear to partly cloudy skies will prevail over the rest of the sultanate with chances of
convective clouds developments and occasional thunderstorms associated with downdraft wind over Al Hajar Mountains and the adjoining wilayats.
Convective clouds could also develop over the Hajar mountains, with isolated rain during the afternoon and evening.

convective clouds form during noon especially in central areas due to wind convergence between easterly and westerly sea breezes in addition to the factor of surface heating.
Peng advised the public to beware of "guerilla war units" of rainstorms, southwestern winds, and
convective clouds, which could easily develop and may cause extreme rainfall in the western half of the country.

The influence of the eastward movement of the low-pressure plateau system on the
