A developer is hoping to turn Cale
Cross House, an 18-storey building next to the Tyne Bridge, from an office block into a new residential complex that would boast spectacular views over the River Tyne.
Ms Robison met residents and staff at Red
Cross House, based at the Erskine home, where she also talked with staff.
Built in 1912, Newcastle's
Cross House was -- and still is -- a six-storey office block.
