An aerodynamic configuration in which the control surfaces are at the tail of the vehicle.

dart configuration

A configuration of an aerodynamic vehicle in which the control surfaces are at the tail of the vehicle. This is the reverse of the canard configuration. Laser-guided weapons are of a dart configuration. See also canard configuration. See laser-guided weapon.
