[‚del·tə′hē·drən]
(crystallography)
A polyhedron which has 12 quadrilateral faces, and is the form of a crystal belonging to the cubic system and having hemihedral symmetry. Also known as deltoid dodecahedron; tetragonal tristetrahedron.
