Similarly, Huang et al.[14] also obtain an increase in naturalness, by prioritizing colors based on the effect they have on a dichromat individual's perception.
Thus, trichromats (persons exhibiting trichromacy) can be either protanomalous, deuteranomalous, or tritanomalous, while dichromats can be either protanopic, deuteranopic, or tritanopic.
On the other hand, similar sign (positive or negative) and magnitude errors emerged for the other CST- dichromat type combinations: Not very large and positive errors for Variantor-Deuteranopia; larger and negative errors for Coblis-protanopia and Coblis-deuteranopia.
Dichromats have two instead of three cone types in the retina (Birch, 2001).
c) The applicant can be an anomalous trichromat but not a
dichromatUsing this criterion, 1.5% of
dichromats and 63% of anomalous trichromats passed the test.
In the simplest case,
dichromats have only one "normal" cone photopigment.
It was expected that, as with
dichromats (Lillo et al., 2012; see also Lillo, Davies, Collado, Ponte, & Vitini, 2001), the best representative task would produce less errors because of the greater psychophysical specificity of this type of stimulus (a best representative occupies a specific localization in CIE color spaces, but each BCT can be used to name larger parts of such spaces).

Suitably characterized, it is automaton 'colour vision' that will eventually unit
dichromats, trichromats, tetrachromats and pentachromats.
About 50% of colour deficient men fail the D15, including 98.5% of
dichromats. (14) Inspection of the results diagram is preferred to numerical methods of analysis or scores that are difficult to relate to test performance.
Other signs, such as reduced visual acuity (VA) or visual field defects, may accompany acquired deficiencies but other aspects of visual function are not altered in congenital
dichromats and anomalous trichromats.
