Among the Mullerian duct anomalies, bicornuate and
didelphic uteri are common forms, with the prevalence of 25 and 11%.
They are
didelphic and prodelphic, with vulvar opening close to anus (Figure 9), located 0.2744--0.3518 (0.3090 [+ or -] 0.0299) and 0.0454--0.074 (0.0511 [+ or -] 0.0109) from tail tip, respectively.
Differentiating bicornuate bicollis uterus from
didelphic uterus can be challenging, as the anatomy of these anomalies is similar.
Intrauterine pregnancy corresponding to gestational age of 10 weeks was seen in the left horn of the
didelphic uterus.

Duplicated vagina is more likely in a
didelphic uterus.
It is a lateral fusion defect of mullerian ducts with symmetrical unobstructed
didelphic uterus having complete vaginal septum.

The uterus appears to be
didelphic, with normal ovaries and an absent right kidney.
Among the anomalies of uterus, Septate uterus,
Didelphic uterus, Bicornuate uterus or presence of a rudimentary horn do not affect pregnancy but may cause different complications (Wang et al, 2008)2 et al some of which may even be life threatening, eg, ruptures of one horn during pregnancy.
