diver method
[′dī·vər ‚meth·əd] (physical chemistry)
Measure of the size of suspended solid particles; small glass divers of known density sink to the level where the liquid-suspension density is equal to that of the diver, allowing calculation of particle size. Also known as Berg's diver method.
