dynamic NAT

(dynamic Network Address Translation) In large networks, dynamic NAT uses a pool of public Internet addresses and assigns them on a first-come, first-served basis to each internal computer requesting access to the Internet. In small networks, "static NAT" is used, which assigns the same public address to each machine. See NAT.
