dynamometer multiplier
[dī·nə′mäm·əd·ər ′məl·tə‚plī·ər] (electricity)
A multiplier in which a fixed and a moving coil are arranged so that the deflection of the moving coil is proportional to the product of the currents flowing in the coils.
