e-mail bombing

A denial-of-service attack that saturates the victim's e-mail capability. Simple e-mail bombing involves sending hundreds or thousands of messages to a person's e-mail address. E-mail subscription bombing automatically subscribes victims to dozens or hundreds of electronic mailing lists, each of which sends multiple messages on a daily basis. See e-mail virus.
