* Graeme Eales, listed building consent for re-instatement of the gable
end chimney, which was demolished between 1986 and 1993, to its original form, 2 Dean Brook Road, Armitage Bridge.
She said the house, considered a mansion at the time, had interesting features, such as a center chimney as opposed to an
end chimney in Federal-style construction, and also featured a Greek Revival door that was installed in the mid-1840s.
The farm, according to Historical Commission Chairman Barry Eager, was started in the 1740s, and the brick house with four
end chimneys was built in 1808 by Job Spofford, with the barn following sometime later in the mid-1800s.
