Large heart-shaped leaves on a 10’ 93m) bush, greenish-white 5-petal flowers in clusters. Young shoots edible raw or cooked in spring. lemony mild-rhubarb flavor. Can be ground into powder. Stems best peeled. Contains anti-aging resveratrol (similar uses and benefits as Japanese Knotweed)
