The deposits consist of unconsolidated
ferruginous lateritic gravel (pisolites) and cemented laterite.

Ferruginous Duck Aythya nyroca (Guldenstadt, 1770) is a winter visitor and a breeding resident in Morocco [1, 2]; it winters regularly in the Northern part of the country, usually in small numbers, in comparison with Tropical Africa [2].
