As a comparison to the above estimate, a quantum mechanical prediction of the lifetime of the [3.sub.p] - [1.sub.s] state for emitting a
graviton is about 1.9 x [10.sup.39] s [10,11], which is within a few orders of magnitude of the fully classical estimate above.
It postulates an 11 dimensional
graviton: one of time, 3 of physical space and 7 additional curled up dimensions for quantum connection.

There are only a few conceivable sources of
graviton production, like black hole decay, spontaneous emission of
gravitons from neutral hydrogen, bremsstrahlung from electron-electron collisions in stellar interiors, and conservations of photons to
gravitons by interstellar magnetic fields.
But as Hall will one day become a minor Marvel super villain called
Graviton, this is the closest it looks like we're going to get to having an actual super hero turn up on the small screen for now.
