grounding reactor
[′grau̇nd·iŋ rē‚ak·tər] (electricity)
A reactor sometimes used in a grounded alternating-current system which joins a conductor or neutral point to ground and serves to limit ground current in case of a fault. Also known as earthing reactor (British usage).
