half-power frequency
[′haf ¦pau̇·ər ′frē·kwən·sē] (electronics)
One of the two values of frequency, on the sides of an amplifier response curve, at which the voltage is 1/√2 (70.7%) of a midband or other reference value. Also known as half-power point.
