iPhone SE

An entry-level iPhone introduced in March 2016. The "special edition" (SE) model used the same A9 CPU and graphics processor as the iPhone 6s but with a smaller 4" screen. The SE is essentially an iPhone 6s in a 5s footprint for people who prefer a smaller phone. See iPhone 6s.

Second-Generation SE
In 2020, Apple debuted the SE again in the body of the iPhone 8 with a more up-to-date A13 CPU and advanced camera system. The screen is 4.7" in this 2G model. In 2020, the SE is expected to be replaced with the iPhone 12 mini. See iPhone versions.
