iliolumbar ligament
[‚il·ē·ō′ləm‚bär ‚lig·ə·mənt] (anatomy)
A fibrous band that radiates laterally from the transverse processes of the fourth and fifth lumbar vertebrae and attaches to the pelvis by two main bands.
