This procedure has been applied to the simulation of a reciprocating compressor, and the impact on the indicator diagram and valve displacement was clearly identified.
Recording results of p - [phi] indicator diagram for the prototype expander are shown in Fig.
A new mathematical model for calculating the p - [phi] indicator diagram of twin screw expander had been developed.
The second takes the high-speed pressure measurements necessary to perform the indicator diagram analysis.
This type of diagram is also called an indicator diagram. The appearance of the diagram does not change by plotting the pressure course against the scaled piston position, as is done in the diagrams of Figures 10 and 11.
The methodology of admission port evaluation by indicator diagram analysis is useful, as measurements have shown.
Pressure volume diagrams, also called indicator diagrams, can be drawn to investigate the admission process based on the known volume function.
At that time, it was already common to draw indicator diagrams. As said before, the machines were running at moderate speed.
The indicator diagrams of all three modified compressors are superimposed in Figures 12 and 13.
The analysis of the indicator diagrams leads to the conclusion that each operating condition has its own optimum geometry at a given speed of the compressor.
