Regarding the hormonal aspect, it is necessary to have a balance between auxins, cytokinins and gibberellins, which can be exogenously applied, such as indolebutyric acid or naphthalene acetic acid, which increase auxin content and consequently increase the rooting rate.
The main auxins used for rooting of cuttings are indoleacetic acid (IAA), indolebutyric acid (IBA) and naphthalene acetic acid (NAA).

CASARIN (2015) evaluated the effects of different concentrations of
indolebutyric acid (IBA) (0, 1000, 2000 and 3000 mg.[L.sup.-1]) on minicutting rooting of six olive cultivars (Ascolano 315, Coratina, Frantoio, Grappolo 541, Leccino and Maria da Fe).
This phytotoxicity to
indolebutyric acid is due to hormona imbalance when the cuttings are in contact with auxins.

ROOTING OF SEMI-HARDWOOD CUTTINGS OF BLUEBERRY UNDER DIFFERENT
INDOLEBUTYRIC ACID CONCENTRATIONS
The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of types of cuttings and
indolebutyric acid concentration on the vegetative propagation of L.
Several studies have evaluated the effect of the
indolebutyric acid (IBA) on rooting of stem cuttings in fruit tree species.
Thus, this research was carried out with the aim to study the propagation of Drimys brasiliensis by rooting of semihard wood cuttings, subjected to different concentrations of
indolebutyric acid (IBA), collected in four seasons of the year (autumn, winter, spring and summer).
