Infortunes

(religion, spiritualism, and occult)

Traditionally, the planets most likely to lead to difficulties in life—namely, Mars and Saturn—were referred to as the infortunes (“unfortunates”). Mars was further designated as the infortune minor, and Saturn as the infortune major.
