Lighting track to complement the new Exterior & Roadway Lighting Pavilion on the trade show floor
Lawrence emphasized the house's northeast-southwest view axis by turning the new fireplace, overhead
lighting track, and bay window toward it.
It starts in utter simplicity at the one doorway from which the piece is accessible, with a single yellow electrical cord dropping down from the ceiling (where you might just miss the little night-light glowing pitifully next to the
lighting track it's plugged into) to power a desk lamp that sits with a plant on a wooden stool.

Lighting track is, perhaps, the most flexible form of lighting.
Instead of using two parallel boards to hold sliding pot hooks as the rack was designed, the couple replaced one with a length of
lighting track. To accept the slightly wider track, the slots in the supports were widened with a file.
