lights-out server room

lights-out server room

A datacenter that contains a number of servers without human operators in attendance. The room is dark and under lock and key, and the servers are controlled via the network from a remote location. While providing greater security, the lack of perpetual lights saves electricity and generates less heat, which saves even more by requiring less cooling.
