A fleshy fold above and below the entrance to the mouth of mammals.

A parapet placed on the downstream margin of a millrace or apron in order to minimize scouring of the river bottom.

(design engineering)

Cutting edge of a fluted drill formed by the intersection of the flute and the lip clearance angle, and extending from the chisel edge at the web to the circumference.

The margin of an open wound.

The edge of a hollow cavity or container.

Lips

(dreams)

In pop culture, lips are usually symbols of sexuality and sensuality. They are also symbols of communication. Old dream interpretation books say that if you see beautiful lips in your dreams, expect happy events to occur, but if you see ugly or deformed lips, look out for trouble! Who knows?
