Lower (2.5-20 mg/L) and higher (100-1000 mg/L) range of feed concentration of basic fuchsin and methyl violet dyes were prepared in distilled water at different pH and also in distilled water with varied molar concentration of sodium chloride and calcium chloride.
The dye adsorption was studied in a batch experiment with 50 mL aqueous solution of 5 mg/L basic fuchsin and methyl violet dyes for 48 h at 25[degrees]C.
In order to observe the catalytic activity of TiSi[W.sub.12][O.sub.40]/Ti[O.sub.2], comparison of photocatalytic activity of catalysts was carried out at the initial methyl violet concentration of 20 mg/L, pH 5.5, and 0.3 g of catalyst.
To investigate the influence of initial concentration on the degradation efficiency of methyl violet, the initial concentration was varied from 5 to 40mg/L, keeping the other experimental conditions constant.
Comments: DCC expanded its color and performance palette with the strategic acquisition of the organic pigment product lines of Max Marx Color Corporation, including Rhodamines PR.81:3, PV.1, Copper Ferrocynamides PR.169,PV.27, PB.62,
Methyl Violet PV.3, Victoria Blue PB.1, Diamond Green PG.1.
Comments:
Methyl Violet (PV 3) (AArbor Code 1003W) is used in solvent inks (NC, NC/PA) and water, and offers high gloss and stability.
