The wall creeper is a rare non
migratory bird, which lives in canyons with vertical cliffs at an altitude of 2800-3500 meters.
The AFN meeting held from May 13 to 15 in Malaysia provided an opportunity for implementers of the project on Improving Biodiversity Conservation of Wetlands and
Migratory Waterbirds in the ASEAN Region, an initiative supported by Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund and Philippines-based ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB), and led by the National Parks Board of Singapore.
SFC aims to raise community awareness about the importance of

"Birds do not recognize political boundaries, so their conservation depends on our joint efforts at the many habitats they need for nesting,

For rice farmers, the
migratory birds could be considered boon as these species eat snails, especially the golden ones that damage rice plants, Esteban said.
He urged the provincial wildlife department to conduct a survey which is not conducted since1998 to know how many species are living in the province and it should resolve the issues being face by
