None of the cases showed
monocytosis. The study by Ali Hassan Abro et al showed 10% of their cases had
monocytosis which was discordant with our study.
However,
monocytosis observed in this study refers in particular to I.

Hyperglycemia has been verified to be associated with
monocytosis in diabetes.
In our series, the correlation analysis between phenotype markers and immune cells revealed that the CS patients presented leukocytosis with neutrophilia and
monocytosis that positively correlated with WC, WHR, BMI, and hsCRP, an association that persists except for hs-CRP in multivariate analysis.
This shows leukocytosis with lymphopenia and
monocytosis, elevated ESR, and normal renal function.
Her white cell count was 24.2 x [10.sup.9]/l (NR 4-11) with 65.3% neutrophilia and 8.4%
monocytosis. She had severe acidosis (pH of 6.95) with no ketosis.
Her white blood cell (WBC) counts were elevated with
monocytosis and varying degrees of neutrophilia over the past 3 years.
Additionally, a slightly elevated WBC count (all cats) with mild basophilia (8% in cat 4) and
monocytosis (11.3% in cat 4) was also appreciated.
The laboratory findings include leukopenia, lymphopenia,
monocytosis, thrombocytopenia, increased liver enzymes and increased creatinine kinase (CK).
