near-parallel runways

Non-intersecting runways whose extended centerlines have an angle of convergence/divergence of 15° or less (ICAO). There are basically four types of parallel runways:
i. Close, which have fewer than 2500 ft between the runways.
ii. Intermediate, which have between 2500 and 4300 ft interval between the runways.
iii. Far, which have more than 4300 ft between them.
iv. Dual lane, two close parallel runways separated by 4300 ft or more.
