[ō′lib·ə·nəm ‚ȯil] (materials)
Colorless oil with balsamic aroma; distilled from olibanum; soluble in ether, chloroform, and carbon disulfide; main components are pinene, phellandrene, and dipentene; used in medicine. Also known as frankincense oil.
