We deem that the mapping of
parietal bone thickness offered by the present study may be a useful tool for professionals in the field of maxillofacial reconstruction providing care to Brazilian patients.

parietal bone.
Dorso-lateral view of the skull of female blackbuck showing
parietal bone (a), frontal bone (b), orbit (c), supraorbital foramen (d), lacrimal bulla (e), Fronto-nasal suture (f), nasal bone (g), infraorbital foramen (h), nasal process (i), incisive bone (j), alveolar socket for incisor teeth (k), mental foramen (l), pre molar (m), maxilla bone (n), molar (o), zygomatic arch (p), temporal fossa (q), oval foramen (r), paracondylar process (s), external acoustic meatus (t), temporal bone (u).
According to Wood Jones this latter is very rare (10,2) Occipito A sutural bone in the suture Mastoid Bone between Occiput and Mastoid (OMB) bone Parietal Notch Parietal notch is that part of Bone (PNB) the
parietal bone that protrudes between the squamous and the mastoid portions of the temporal bone.
INTRODUCTION: Pterion is a significant region which is marked by the junction of frontal bone,
parietal bone, squama temporalis and the greater wing of sphenoid bone and forms the floor of temporal fossa.
The frontal bone did not constitute the caudal extent of the frontal surface, rather it was formed by the
parietal bone unlike in other domestic animals, where the frontal bone extended upto the caudal extent of the skull as reported in cattle (Getty, 1975), goat (Borthakur, 1990), mithun (Borthakur et al., 2000) and dum pig (Sarma et al., 2002).
There may be two separate center of ossification that fails to fuse dividing the
parietal bone into upper and lower parts.
6.The
parietal bone is found in which part of the human body?
Four fingers are placed under the posterior
parietal bone with the thumb over the anterior
parietal bone (ILLUSTRATION, page 10).
Moreover, from the osteological and sensorial point of view, it is considered that the connection of the third infraorbital bone to the preoperculum, and the presence of a tabular bone for the occipital sensorial canal over the
parietal bone (Yabe & Uyeno, 1996), constitute a substantial difference between Cottidae and Normanichthyidae.
a) Length (Lsk): Distance between the highest points of the
parietal bone to the middle of the rostral margin of the incisive bone.
He had near total loss of scalp in vertex area measuring 10 cm x 12 cm with loss of periosteum, fractured and raised
parietal bone with dural tear and brain matter bulge [Figure 1].
