Passing Bells | |
Going back to The
Passing Bells, it gave viewers an insight into the thoughts and feelings of both sides in the conflict, and when you think of it they were merely young men led by patriotism.
The BBC's brilliant series The
Passing Bells made it almost possible to smell the mud, smoke, blood and fear and realise why those returning preferred to keep silent.
I'D like to congratulate the BBC for the excellent series The
Passing Bells. The programmes gave an insight into the horrors of the trench warfare in World War I and also looked at it from both the British and German perspective.
