personal communications portal

A service, usually offered by a carrier, that enables consumers to access personal information culled together from a variety of sources. This is usually messaging and contact information offered in conjunction with a wireless or landline phone services account. It is often extended to include other kinds of data in a unified communications or unified messaging context. See unified communications and unified messaging.
