Pileus 13-30 mm diam., infundibuliform when young, plane to
plano-convex or depressed when mature, surface smooth, margin smooth, abrupt, lobed, rimose, pastel grey (1C1) to pale grey (1B1) at the center and pale grey (1B1) to white (1A1) at the margin.
Pileus 2.5 cm diam, hemispherical to
plano-convex, with obtuse umbo, dark brown in the centre fading towards camel brown at margin, fibrillose, margin entire; surface smooth, shiny, viscid.
We also notice that while the separation varies from 0 [micro]m to 100 [micro]m, the Raman characteristic peak of the silicon increases and it might happen in the combination of the mismatch of refractive indices between intralipid, silicon wafer, and the probe and the effect of the
plano-convex lens in front of the excitation and detection fibers.
b A pair of
plano-convex lenses with plano surfaces bonded together
Type 4 (im-su) is either a small round tablet (
plano-convex) or a square tablet; the reverse is usually uninscribed.
The LCA is partially corrected by making the simple
plano-convex objective lens at least f/40, however as the secondary achromatic reduction lens is placed at only one third of the focal length from the OG, the tube lengths are similar to that of standard refractors.
This method has been successfully applied to predict the field in the focal region of spherical dielectric interface,
plano-convex antenna, inhomogeneous slab and focussing of lens into uniaxial crystal by Hongo, Ghaffar and co-workers [20-23].
Achene 1.3-1.6 mm long, 0.9-1.1 mm wide, dark brown, obovate to elliptic-obovate, flattened-trigonous to more or less
plano-convex or even slightly concavo-convex, rounded to more or less cuneate to a sessile base, rounded to the apex, with an indistinct collar and sometimes a very short apiculus, finely papillose; style branches reddish, feathery with elongate papillae.
[CO.sub.2] Laser Optics feature zinc selenide positive focusing lenses in
plano-convex, plano-concave, and meniscus configurations in 0.5" to 2" dia sizes and focal lengths from 1" to 20", depending on configuration, and mirrors fabricated from silicon, molybdenum, and copper in sizes from 1" to 3" dia and a variety of styles.
The shape of the nucleus is
plano-convex, with the curved face directed ventrally towards the limb surface.
