porch pirate

A thief who steals deliveries that are left at the entrance to a house. For example, every Christmas season, Amazon delivers more than a billion packages to consumers, and many of them are left on the doorstep or porch if nobody is home. Options for Amazon customers are delivery to a local hub station or having an Amazon Key doorlock. See Amazon Hub and Amazon Key.
