(FOUCAULT) Although related to the dialectal identity of knowledge and power, this refers to the idea that ‘forms of rationality open up fields of possible practices’, and vice versa (D. Owen, Maturity and Modernity, 1994). The precise power/knowledge relationship can only be established by analysis of specific discursive and non-discursive practices.
