Many reloaders prefer to hand seat their primers, believing that the ability to feel each
primer seat produces more consistent and accurate loads.
I listen for the sound of the primer, feel the
primer seat, watch the powder measure move and look at the finished round as it falls into the bin.
This, however, makes feeling the
primer seat in the pocket difficult.
Slide a cartridge case into the spring loaded Universal Shell Holder, squeeze the handle and you'll feel the
primer seat properly into place.
