Evaluation of the echoes appearing on the indicator of a weather radar, in terms of orientation, coverage, intensity, tendency of intensity, height, movement, and unique characteristics of echoes, that may be indicative of certain types of severe storms (such as hurricanes, tornadoes, or thunderstorms) and of anomalous propagation. Also known as radar weather observation.
