radio atmometer
[′rād·ē·ō at′mäm·əd·ər] (engineering)
An instrument designed to measure the effect of sunlight upon evaporation from plant foliage; consists of a porous-clay atmometer whose surface has been blackened so that it absorbs radiant energy.
