[′rād·ē·ō ¦nȯiz ′fēld ‚streŋkth] (electromagnetism)
A quantity which is proportional, or related in a known manner, to the field strength of electromagnetic waves of an interfering character at a point, such as a radio receiver. Also known as noise field strength.
