In this report, we studied i) the measurement of SGLT-1 gene expression in the biopsy epithelial tissue of
rectum, ii) the effect of the fasting condition to understand the physiological function of SGLT-1, and iii) the changes in gene expression under the grazing condition in the pasture, of SGLT-1 in the rectal epithelia of Japanese black beef cattle.
