There are three key parameters in a bifacial panel equipped with an external reflector under the panel, namely, slope of the reflector ([beta]), slope of the PV panel ([[alpha].sub.1]), and average distance between the PV panel and the reflector (h), to be referred to as separation (Figure 3(a)); [[alpha].sub.1] and [beta] denote the slope of bifacial panel and the slope of the
reflector plate, respectively; [I.sub.1] and [I.sub.2] denote radiation incident on PV panel at angles [[alpha].sub.1] and [[alpha].sub.2] from normal to the surface (Figure 3(b)).
Each lamp is made with a noncorrosive aluminum exterior construction, and contains a
